Hosting

Hosting for a managed website is included in the monthly fee. We keep the hosting environment maintained, monitored, and updated as part of the service.

If you already have hosting with another provider, arrangements for moving or keeping it are agreed before work begins.

Maintenance and Security

Maintenance and security for the managed website are included in the monthly fee. This covers keeping the site running, applying updates, and handling routine maintenance on the platform.

This is not a guarantee that a website cannot be targeted or affected by an issue outside our control. We act on problems that affect the managed site as they arise.

Website Updates

The monthly service includes simple text and image updates. These are requested through the support form and are actioned as part of the monthly service.

Larger pieces of work, such as new service pages, new sections, or added functionality, are quoted separately before any work begins.

SEO-Ready Setup

Managed websites are built with an SEO-ready setup. This can include page titles and descriptions, heading structure, image alt text, internal linking, sitemap and robots files, local and service schema, Google Search Console setup, and analytics setup.

SEO-ready setup is the foundation of a website. It is not ongoing SEO management, and it does not guarantee rankings or search positions.

No Ranking Guarantees

Search results are controlled by third parties, not by us. No SEO provider controls how Google ranks a page, and no one can guarantee a specific position, a specific keyword, or a specific volume of traffic or leads.

What we can do is build and maintain the structure, content, technical foundations, and local signals that give a website the best opportunity to compete.

Cancellation

The managed website service is month to month. You can cancel at any time and no further monthly payments are taken once cancellation takes effect.

When a managed website service ends, arrangements for the website, its hosting, and any connected services are confirmed in writing with you before anything is taken offline.

Payment Terms

Managed website services are billed monthly in advance. Work outside the scope of the monthly service is quoted and agreed separately before it begins.

Where an invoice remains unpaid, we may pause work or suspend the associated services until the account is brought up to date.

Content Supplied by Clients

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the text, images, logos, and other content you supply to us for use on your website.

By supplying content, you confirm you have the right to use it and to grant us permission to publish it on your behalf. We are not responsible for claims arising from content you supplied.

Domain and Email Exclusions

The managed website service does not include your domain name registration or your business email service. Domain registration and email hosting are held and paid for separately by you.

We can advise on and help configure these services, but the accounts and their ongoing costs remain yours.
